Prepare for the End of Your INFINITI Lease

Whether here in San Diego, or farther away in Carlsbad, Escondido, or across America, we know how much people love their new INFINITI cars and SUVs. That’s especially true if you leased your vehicle at Kearny Mesa INFINITI, since our knowledgeable and caring staff makes leasing a breeze. If you’re dreading the end of that lease, don’t. We were here to help at the beginning of the process, and we’re still here at the end to make sure it all goes smoothly.

A little advance preparation goes a long way when it comes to keeping the process painless. There are a few pieces of knowledge and a few things you can and should do for added peace of mind.

What You Should Know

You’ll be responsible for any excess wear and tear to your vehicle. Likewise, you’re responsible for mileage overages. You should also know, however, that if you encounter questions or issues through this process, your San Diego INFINITI dealer is just a phone call away. Better to ask than be surprised later!

What You Can Do

A few months before your lease is up, you should give some thought as to whether you want to buy out your lease, lease another vehicle, or purchase something else entirely. Ask about available owner loyalty incentives and any other incentives that might apply when the time comes to return your vehicle.

As the lease end draws closer, you should have a pre-return inspection done. This is done through Alliance Inspection Management and won’t incur any cost to you. Once the inspection is complete, you’ll be presented with a list of any needed repairs.

By the time you’re thirty days from the end of your lease, you can decide which repairs you’d like to make, and begin making any final arrangements. Make your return appointment, and the day of your vehicle return, be sure to complete an Odometer Report/Lease Return Statement at your INFINITI dealership.
